Latonya Garth, Founder

Latonya Garth is the Founder of the I.M.A.G.I.N.E Mentoring Program and is determined to help transform the lives of those who desire change. “Life is so fullfilling when you can take the time to plant the seed in someone to help them grow and become better” says Garth. She obtained her B.A. in Communication and M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Michigan State University. Along with serving as a mentor and lifelong coach to her daughter Micah, she enjoys working in the higher education sector encouraging students to take their education to another level. 

 

 

 

 

 

Richard Attieh

Richard Karim Attieh is a graduate of Macomb Community College & Wayne State University. As an educator in the areas of Social Studies and Math, he always tries to tie in life lessons and character builders in every lesson he teaches. Richard is a mentor at heart, and has made it his mission in life to help the youth of America. Richard has been working with “at-risk” students since 2007. As a native of Detroit, he is trying to help a much needed city by inspiring the change of the youth’s mentality, one mind at a time!

Latoya Rice

Latoya Rice is one of I.M.A.G.I.N.E’s newest mentors. Latoya is a devoted wife and mother of 3. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wayne State University, where she also works as an Administrative Assistant for the Department of Otolaryngology. Latoya has always had a passion for helping and giving back. She is a fun loving, free spirit woman who thrives on helping people live out life to their fullest potential. Overcoming many of life’s challenges, she has managed to remain solid, strong, and victorious. This is what she hopes to instill in others that she comes in contact with.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kelly Grice

Kelly Grice

Kelley Grice obtained her BS degree in Psychology from Wayne State University, and has been working with adults and juveniles that have a severe and persistant mental diagnosis for over 10 years. “It is important that we realize we can not survive in this world alone. Everyone needs somebody, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that” says Grice. Kelley proudly declares herself as an overcomer through Christ’s strength and wants those who she impacts to know and truly believe this about themselves as well.

 

 

 

 

Mikeshia Hayes

Mikeshia Hayes

Mikeshia Hayes is a graduate of Davenport University with a B.S. in Business Administration. She is also an active member of Women of Purpose; a program that inspires women to be virtuous women of God at Evangel Ministries Church. She is a wife and mother of 2 beautiful daughters and is currently works in the sales industry. She is also an entreprenuer and demonstrates excellence to those who follow her. She serves with I.M.A.G.I.N.E to encourage others that their past does not have to determine their future. 

 

 

 

 

Sharese Mitchell

Sharese Mitchell

Sharese Mitchell is a graduate of Madonna University with a B.S. in Merchandise Management and a M.S. in Psychology from University of Phoenix. Sharese has successfully been working for Ford Motor Company for the last 18 years. She is a single mom raising two children. Recently, her son had an opportunity to partcipate in a mentoring program. She was delighted to witness the change in his life from having positive male role models. She is thrilled to be a mentor with I.M.A.G.I.N.E because of her desire to give back and the opportunity to witness the change in their lives through the power of mentorship.

 

 

 

 

Stephanie Murray

Stephanie Murray

Stephanie Murray is a graduate of University of Michigan and Central Michigan University. As a mentor, as well as an English and Reading & Literacy K-12 instructor, she has made it part of her life’s purpose to impart knowledge into young people of all ages and to open their minds to the limitless possibilities that are available to achieve personal and professional success. She makes it her mission to reach out to those who have been labeled as “at-risk” students to let them know that the only thing they are at-risk of is being everything they desire to be and becoming a positive influence on this world.

Lady Dona Stallings

Pastor Stallings currently serves as the Advisor for the I.M.A.G.I.N.E Mentoring Program. Stallings also served as President and owner of SYNC Technologies, Inc., a multi-million dollar Technology company, and has been a business woman and coach for over 25 years.  She has received numerous business and volunteer service awards and recognitions throughout the years. Stallings and her ministry teams are frequently found ministering in homeless shelters.  Platforms such as this has allowed her to effectively shed light on critical issues such as the Zero Tolerance Policies and health issues that are greatly impacting African American youth.

 

 

 

 

Tanay Stovall

Tanay Stovall

Tanay Stovall is a loving and very devoted mother of one. She is currently a machinist at General Motors. Tanay is motivated as a mentor because she wants to be that outside voice of reasoning. As a child, Tanay desired role models to help her blossom into the strong, wise, and confident woman she is today. She wishes to instill her values into the I.M.A.G.I.N.E participants to help them grow and develop as beautiful young ladies. Her ultimate goal is to open the young ladies eyes to a world of possibilities and options and motivate them to Imagine the best life possible and most importantly, achieve all their dreams. 

 

 

 

 

Iyesha Weaver

Iyesha Weaver

Iyesha Weaver is truly dedicated to serving as an I.M.A.G.I.N.E mentor. Although her schedule is demanding, she finds the time to help plant the seed in helping young ladies become better. Iyesha received her B.S. in Kinselogy from Michigan State University, then went to Central Michigan University to obtain a M.A. in Physical Education and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. She is now studying to pass the state licensure exam to practice as a Physical Therapist. 

 

 

 

 

 

Aja Williams

Aja Williams

Aja Williams is the owner and founder of Aja’s Real Life Finances LLC. Her company came into existence in 2006 after she made a decision to stop living paycheck to paycheck and get out of debt. Thankful for her success of debt freedom and living within here means she decided to go back to her community in Detroit and surrounding areas to teach and counsel adults and youth financial literacy. Aja is currently at Wayne State University completing her Bachelor degree in Finance and she’s also a single mother proud of her 18 year old son in college.
